Another headshot test....

'playing around with trying to create a website headshot....I usually hate pictures of myself, for many reasons, but this one from our anniversary two years ago wasn't too bad :)-

After our first California wine trip in 2007, one of my favorite mottos became "Live Large and drink deeply from the cup of Life!'

I haven't updated our family website since 2008, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

I am enjoying getting back into painting and drawing and working with photographs and video creation. Here are some paintings I've done with something called Alcohol ink. You drop the paint which is the consistency of rubbing alcohol onto special paper that is non-porous and then use various things like canned air and or sponges & various dabbers to move the paint around until you get the look you want. The paint is easier to work with if you are doing an abstract versus trying to paint an actual picture because you truly have very little control on the finished product. So far I am enjoying painting with canned air the most. Here are some of the pictures I have done so far while trying to learn this new paint.
